the handle has 2 holes drilled in it.. and a small cup/film canister ziptied to it... you wind the cup around and put your key in it... the key has a string tied to it and to the chains above me.. when the timer counts down it turns the cup upside down and drops the key into my reach...

I'm not sure that I understand. Do the timer release something, so you can't get free before the alarm has went on. Or is it just a psychological lock that you mustn't release yourself before the alarm has went on. Can you describe it in more detail, please.

do Luzy : It is a light/fan timer for in the wall. I drilled 2 holes in the twist handle and ziptied a little cup to it. I have a 0-60 min timer and a 0-12 hr timer. They are spring wound, so no batteries to die.

I love it too. I've made many different types of suspension ands self bondage. A few times it didn't work out the way I had planed though, but I did manage to get free after some nerve breaking minutes. How does your timer function?

do deana_cd : indeed... I am definitely doing this again when my pink ballet boots come in the mail.. but with the rope ratchet mounted higher on my body and more time on my release timer..
